At the start of the year, IBM’s APAC team came together virtually for their annual kick-off – a key moment to align on goals, refresh ways of working, and energize the region for the year ahead. ⚡️

To make the experience impactful and engaging for over 500 participants, IBM partnered with one of Miki Island Certified Partner in Malaysia to design and deliver a large-scale virtual workshop like no other. 🌏

A Virtual Island Adventure with Purpose 🧭

Instead of relying on traditional presentations, the team embarked on an immersive journey through Miki Island – our experiential, game-based platform designed to activate real business behaviors in a playful and high-energy setting. 🚀

In the simulation, IBMers were grouped into teams and challenged to collaborate, make decisions under pressure, and reflect on what it means to perform at a high level together. It was a hands-on, dynamic way to reinforce alignment and shared success behaviors across the region. 🤝💡
