🌱 Why Does a Growth & Feedback Culture Matter?
High-performing organizations don’t fear feedback - they thrive on it. But most organizations struggle with feedback that’s either avoided, too vague, or not acted on. For senior leaders, building a feedback culture starts with how they lead.

💚 The Feedback / Feedforward™ Framework
Our leadership development model for growth-focused conversations.
At the core of our Feedback in Action program is the Feedback + Feedforward™ Framework - a practical model we use to help leaders shift from reactive feedback to proactive, growth-centered conversations.
Most leadership feedback is backward-looking - focused on what went wrong. While important, that alone doesn’t drive improvement. That’s why our framework combines feedback (reflecting on the past) with feedforward (focusing on the future).
The Feedback + Feedforward™ Framework helps leaders to:
✅ Reflect with clarity
✅ Reframe with compassion
✅ Refocus with action

FAQ?
What sets Miki Island workshops apart from other team development programs?
Miki Island workshops distinguish themselves through immersive gameplay, research based methodology as well as data-driven insights from comprehensive team assessments. This allows to guarantee a focus on creating sustainable, high-performance team cultures that drive tangible business results.
How long is a typical Miki Island workshop?
A Miki Island workshop will last for 2,5h to 4h. Depending on the objectives set for your team, the program can then be enhanced to 2-day or 3-6 month team coaching journey. The more we can work with your team, the better the results!
Why can't we simply do a traditional team development program?
Of course, you can. However, our game-based learning approach in Miki Island workshops creates a psychologically safe environment where teams can practice the behaviors of Stage 4 teams effectively. This approach fosters active engagement, real-time problem-solving, and experiential learning, enabling teams to develop and internalize advanced teamwork skills in a dynamic and supportive setting.
What happens during a debrief session?
Debrief sessions allow teams to reflect on their performance and behaviours in the game, discuss how it relates to their every day life, and identify key takeaways for improvement.
Does that work even with senior executives?
Funny enough, we often see senior executives on the back-sit at the beginning of a Miki Island workshop. Now when the game starts, people (and c-suite) forget about their default leadership behaviours and engage fully in the experience.
This engagement and commitment guarantees and allows for great conversations and debriefs at the end, making it as effective for C-suite senior executives as it can be for more junior team members.
The key difference relies more on the depth of the conversations in the debrief and business application workshops than the game itself.
Are Miki Island workshops customizable for specific team goals?
Yes, Miki Island workshops can be tailored to address specific team challenges, goals, and industry contexts to maximize relevance and impact. The team assessment and diagnostic is a key element that allows for customization.
What's the maximum number of people?
We have had team offsites sessions with as many as 500 people (both virtually and face-to-face). We also work regularly with senior executive teams of 6-8 people. The results are consistent with highly engaged, challenged and impacted team members ready to build their High Performing Teams back at work!
The journey brought the regional team together and created an inclusive and connective tissue between colleagues. It was a very immersive and energizing journey to facilitate our teams’ key learnings of high performing teams, inclusive collaboration and agile decision making all for performance improvement back at work!
